Welcome to Gunfleet Boating Club, the friendly water sports club situated at the end of Holland Heaven in Essex, and built in 1978, run and looked after by its dedicated members.
All new joining members must have a valid RYA certificate.
We do our best to cater for all water craft from kayaking and jet skiing, to speed boats and fishing boats, from the inexperienced and experienced sea goers.
After the recent beach transformation which has given us an amazing cove, just a stone’s throw from the club, we have and continue to renovate the club inside and out. We offer a fully licensed bar, air con, kitchen and male and female changing rooms.
We also have a 6 tonne dumper as the launch vehicle, this can be used all week by any member that has had our training to do so. This is also looked after and serviced by the members.
We try and get everyone involved with Jet Ski runs, fishing competitions and different events held throughout the year. Open days, Halloween parties, New Year’s Eve and in the summer we have BBQs out on the balcony. Opening times of the club house is every Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 to 3:00pm, these times are extended in the summer if the club is busy and the sun is out.
